Become a Foster Family

Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption relies on foster homes to help retired racing greyhounds learn about home life while awaiting adoption.

As NLGA continues to welcome in more greyhounds, more foster homes are needed!  Volunteer to be a primary foster home, a weekend foster home, or greyhound-sitting home for when a foster family is out of town.  We greatly appreciate all of our wonderful foster families!

If you have experience with greyhounds, live in the Twin Cities metro area, and would like to help a retired racing greyhound, you can learn about fostering in a variety of ways:
